We are pleased to announce that the GB-1000 is now dual-listed as a hydromechanical grease interceptor (ASME A112.14.3 / CSA B481.1)
and as a gravity grease interceptor (IAPMO Z1001) now effective.
Summary
- Because the GB-1000 is performance rated to Type D of the ASME/CSA standard (no flow control), it offers the unique ability to be dual-listed with no additional parts or field modifications by the installer.
- We will retire the GGI-1000 as it is now folded into the GB-1000. Any future orders for the GGI-1000 will be converted to a GB-1000 and communicated to the customer accordingly.
- With this dual-rating, GB-1000 model is more deployable across your territory (sellable where HGIs are allowed, but now also where GGIs are preferred / required).
- Consider this as one more bullet for the gun in pitching the GB-1000 as a stock item to your Pioneer Partners. I will notify all stocking partners in a separate email.
